Instagram down updates — Thousands of users report issues with app and posting after Meta’s Threads launch

When you open the app, a user’s existing Instagram account should appear, along with an option to choose a new one, and when you click on it, the process begins.
From there, users can customize their profile on Threads by choosing a name and adding a bio or importing it from Instagram.
The app then asks for privacy settings and asks if you want to follow Instagram accounts before opening and getting started.
