Sanders, whose nickname is “Primetime,” has reportedly agreed to a new coaching job in Colorado.
The former media personality has been in charge at Jackson State since 202.
From playing football and baseball to working on television to coaching, there’s not much Deion hasn’t done in sports.
The 55-year-old was the fifth overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft and began his career with the Atlanta Falcons.

But the year before, he was drafted by the New York Yankees at No. 30.
Deion wasn’t sure which path to take – soccer or baseball.
He was invited to the Yankees’ spring training session in 1989 but wanted to attend NFL training camp in July.
He ended up playing baseball part-time for five teams for nine years.
But things came to a head one year while he was playing for the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves.
An ESPN documentary titled “Deion’s Double Play” details the day he appeared in an NFL and MLB game on the same day.
In October 1992, Deion took part in two playoff games with the Atlanta Braves.
But he interspersed an NFL game for the Atlanta Falcons.
Sanders played for the Braves in Pittsburgh on October 11 against the Pirates in a National League Championship Series game.
The next day he flew to Miami for an NFL game for the Falcons.
And Deion was helicoptered straight back to Pittsburgh that night for the next baseball playoff game.

Football was his strongest point, and Sanders was a two-time Super Bowl champion with the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys.
Despite being a legendary defender, Deion also played as a wide receiver in his day.
His NFL season ended after a year in Baltimore in 2005.

Deion has been urged by MLB and NFL chiefs to focus on just one sport.
But he would try to explain that football is his “wife” and baseball is his “mistress”.
