Inside Wendy Williams’ sad and lonely life in a New York penthouse, while friends doubt her promised podcast will ever be released

WENDY Williams’ solitary life in her New York City penthouse is a world away from the busy schedule she once had as a daytime talk show host, The US Sun has exclusively learned.
A Wendy insider exclusively told The US Sun that she’s not seeing any of her friends anymore and doubts her podcast will ever launch.

The source said the former host recently reached out to former friends to hook up.
“She’s been calling people and saying, ‘Hey, let’s have dinner,’ but she’s acting like all this time hasn’t passed yet.
“It’s this call out of the blue with no news on how she’s doing or anything.
“When she puts out her hand, she pretends we went out to eat last week.”
Additionally, the insider added that when she’s talking about anything personal, she throws off diatribes about being single.
“When you finally get her to give you an update on how she’s doing, she goes into these tangents about being single, looking for love and all these other things,” said the insider, who found it odd that the unemployed star never mentions any projects she is said to be working on.
A second Wendy source noted that Wendy’s podcast website has an open call for random people to sign up to guest on her upcoming show.
“This opt-in form for random people to appear on her podcast is a little weird,” they said, adding that they haven’t heard anything about Wendy’s new platform taking hold with major audio show carriers.

Wendy appeared at an event hosted by local New York radio station WBLS in November and told audiences at the time that “The wendy Experience podcast’ will be a start ‘in the next some weeks.”
However, in response to a comment call, Wendy’s publicist told The US Sun this week that they wouldn’t give a timeframe and would just say “it’s coming soon”.
The rep added, “Wendy’s podcast is coming to life and is in the planning stages.
“Wendy is excited to get out there and is developing a product that is precise and exemplifies her and the needs of her fan base. All good things take time!”
It’s been a tough road for Wendy over the past year.
A financial watchdog officially took control of her finances in May after a myriad of health problems.
She officially lost her iconic daytime talk show in June.
WENDY’S FINANCIAL GUARDIAN
In December, The US Sun revealed the identity of the guardian controlling Wendy’s assets: guardianship expert and attorney Sabrina Morrissey.
Multiple sources and court filings show that the guardian is in charge of the 58-year-old former TV host’s estate and consequently is responsible for who in Wendy’s orbit can receive money and payments from her estate.
The biography of the high-profile professional testifies to Sabrina’s expertise in “probate administration, guardianship and litigation”.
“She is passionate about representing older clients and protecting them from fraud and abuse. She regularly appears on their behalf in New York state courts, helping them obtain proper home support, protect their wealth, and plan for the future,” read her bio.
In court documents previously revealed exclusively by The US Sun, Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin filed for a judge in their divorce case to order the guardian to resume his alimony payments suspended in February.
Additionally, her son Kevin Hunter Jr. alluded to the guardian’s tight control over Wendy’s money when he was evicted from his luxury apartment in September after his mother’s finances were frozen in February, leaving him unable to co-operate to keep up with his high monthly rent of $6,800.
A source close to the situation told The US Sun that Kevin Jr. was not enrolled in college as of the spring, and that partially impacted his ability to access certain funds Wendy earmarked for his schooling.
The insider said the guardian, in shutting the son down financially, argued that despite not being enrolled in school, the 22-year-old “can get a job.”
A source close to the situation also revealed that Sabrina also played a key role in facilitating Wendy’s recent two-month stay at a Malibu rehabilitation facility, where multiple sources claimed she was being treated for “severe alcoholism.”
WHAT THE GUARDIAN DOES
Wells Fargo froze Wendy’s accounts in January, noting in the case files that they suspected Wendy was the victim of “financial exploitation, dementia, or improper influence.”

Sabrina became Wendy’s permanent financial guardian in May of that year.
The US Sun initially reported exclusively that Wendy was under guardianship.
