Eerie photos have revealed an abandoned hotel left to decay.

Once a popular venue for events such as weddings and proms, the three-star hotel was permanently closed and abandoned following lockdown.

The Willerby Manor Hotel in Hull, Yorkshire was owned by the well-known Best Western chain until it closed two and a half years ago.

The venue once boasted popular family facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna, spa and gym.

There was also a separate restaurant called Fig’s Brasserie.

Since the pandemic, however, it has remained a shadow of its former luxury and has been completely abandoned.

Creepy photos of the inside even show that a menu board still stood in the dining room, a glimpse into the hotel’s last day of operation.

The building has now been demolished after being sold to Duchy Homes to make way for an “exclusive collection of just 50 new homes” called Manor Grange.

Before it was torn down, urban explorer Daniel Sims, known as Beardedreality on Instagram and YouTube, managed to sneak inside.

In a clip posted to social media, he showed off the creepy empty space in its run-down state.

Snapshots show trash and debris that had accumulated in the years following the closure.

Broken glass contaminates some rooms as windows have been smashed.

The researcher makes his way through a basement straight out of a horror movie, full of abandoned beer kegs and bar equipment.

Upstairs lay bare and cold a large, airy room with a fireplace, probably once a comfortable seating area.

The bedrooms, meanwhile, are in terrible shape and don’t help to dispel the spooky vibe, with photos of the rooms and even a rude note complaining about the hotel.

Prospective owners can express their interest in the two, three or four bedroom properties available in the new development.
