A DISTURBING video from rapper Goonew’s funeral appears to show his body in all its glory, as mourners reportedly paid $40 to see his embalmed body on the dance floor.

Footage from inside the venue circulated on social media and appeared to show Goonew‘s embalmed body on the dance floor overlooking the crowd.

The rapper was fully dressed, sporting sneakers, ripped pants, a bling watch, a navy blue Amiri sweater and a crown on his head.

Audience reaction was mixed, as some are shown dancing to the music while others stare, stone-faced, at the alleged corpse on stage.

Bliss Nightclub released a statement that they were not made aware of the honor in advance and apologized to anyone who was offended.

“Our deepest condolences to Goonew’s family, friends and fans,” the club said XXL.

“Bliss was contacted by a local funeral home to rent our venue for Goonew’s homecoming party. Bliss was never made aware of what would happen.

“We sincerely apologize to anyone who may be upset or offended. Please keep Goonew’s family and friends in your prayers at this difficult time. With respect, Bliss DC.”

The funeral arrangements were torn up on social media, with some of Goonews fans saying, “He deserved better.”

“Goonew deserves better bro, you idiot are sick,” ranted one critic.

Another fan said: “This goonew s**** is wild. Real Live had this man’s body at the Bliss nightclub.”

“This Goonew s*** is very disturbing to say the least,” a third person tweeted.

Another person was stunned at the service and said: “Wt* why are you doing that to Goonew’s body?

It is unclear whether the body was actually Goonew’s body or a wax figure.

GOONEW SHOT

The rapper named Markelle Morrow was shot dead in Maryland on March 19.

His death came months after he was nearly killed last July after allegedly suffering gunshot wounds.

The Prince George Police Department tweeted about a shooting that occurred on the evening of March 19.

“At approximately 5:40 p.m., officers were in the area to report a shooting. When they got to the scene, they found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.

“At approximately 7:30 p.m. the victim was pronounced dead.”

Authorities later confirmed the victim was 24-year-old Morrow, known as Goonew.

HEARTBROKEN FAMILY

The rapper’s heartbroken mother spoke out after local police publicly identified the person killed in the shooting.

“He just wanted to try to get his family out of the hood,” said Morrow’s mother, Patrice Parker Morrow WUS 9surrounded by her grieving daughters.

“He had a heart bigger than his body, so when they took him, they took me.”

Goonews family confirmed he was fatally shot in the back after the killers stole his watch.

“They took his chain. They took his watch away from him,” said Patrice. “He gave them up and they still shot him in the back.”

Police are actively looking for leads regarding the shooting.

They are currently investigating as a homicide reports from Goonew’s loved ones.
