Inside Pooh Shiesty’s run from the law as ‘inmate image emerges of rapper in Miami federal detention center’

A PHOTO that appeared to show rapper Pooh Shiesty posing in a detention center went viral after it surfaced on social media.

The Memphis the star, whose real name is Lontrell Donell Williams Jr, rose to fame in 2020 for his work with rappers Gucci Mane and Lil Durk.

He is currently signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 record label and has been making waves in the rap world since his debut.

His track “Back in Blood” featuring Lil Durk peaked at number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100..

The star faces eight years in prison after pleading guilty in January to three counts in Tennessee and Florida.

Pooh was in a car when someone opened fire at a gas station in Memphis in July 2020.

OCTOBER 2020 COMING SOON

In October 2020, Shiesty was arrested in Florida.

A criminal complaint alleges that the rapper went to the Landon Hotel in the Bay Harbor Islands to purchase “premium sneakers” and marijuana.

The rapper was charged with a more serious charge of a deadly weapon and a battery-powered weapon in that incident.

Impressive scene is said to have shown the moment the gunfight broke out.

Surveillance video shows a McLaren sports car, a Mercedes-Benz Maybach and another Mercedes entering the parking lot of an apartment complex.

The drivers and passengers then got out of the vehicle and minutes later a man in a white shirt and another in a black shirt opened fire.

They then returned to the Maybach to pick up speed, with the McLaren in tow.

Footage shows another man hobbling back to the Mercedes. Both victims were taken to Aventura Hospital with injuries.

Court documents reveal that Shiesty fled in a McLaren and left behind a Louis Vuitton bag with more than $40,000 in cash inside.

The rapper was charged and released in a Miami-Dade state court.

He was taken into custody in July 2021 and agreed to plead guilty a few months later.

The rapper faces the prospect of a life sentence.

JUNE 2021: ORDER AFTER PHOTOGRAPHY NIGHTCLUB

In a separate incident, Shiesty allegedly shot a security guard foot during an incident at the King of Diamonds strip club in Miami-Dade on May 30, Miami Herald report.

A man behind the camera claimed Shiesty was at the location, accusing someone of stealing money from the musician, according to footage posted on social media.

Then the crowd seemed to disperse as shots were reported.

TMZ testified that at around 4 a.m., an argument broke out between Shiesty and security as he was being escorted out of the building.

The security manager said it was because the money fell out of Shiesty’s pocket.

The amount involved, if any, is unknown.

TMZ also reported that the rapper pulled out his gun and shot to the ground but the bullet hit a guard’s ankle and he was taken to hospital.

The star is said to have fled the scene before police arrived.

Months before filminghe previously talked about bringing “fire” to a club.

The lyrics of “I got my own fire, don’t need security in the club” stand out in his hit song Back In Blood.

In the same song, Shiesty claims that “we had three hundred pictures in the car before we picked up Durk.”

He also talks about weapons and ammo, saying “‘there are 20 bullets left in the K, 15 shots are still in the Glock.”

NO LONGER FACE WITH LIFE

Pooh faced the prospect of a life sentence but pleaded guilty to three incidents in January.

He faced 20 years in prison but lawyers recommended an eight-year sentence, according to Related press.

The US attorney’s office in South Florida said the star admitted to conspiring to possess weapons to further commit violent crimes and drug trafficking as part of her plea.

It is reported that the government cannot claim more than 97 months behind bars.

Shiesty could face three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.

He will be sentenced in Miami on April 7.

‘JAIL PHOTO’ GO VIRAL

Several months after pleading guilty, a photo showing the rapper went viral online this week.

The image was uploaded to Instagram by a backup site of DJ Akademiks, Source report.

The Sun has approached Saam Zangeneh and Bradford Cohen, who have previously represented Shiesty, to comment on the legitimacy of the photo.
