A number of celebrities were also in attendance ahead of the fight, which has WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and Ring Magazine heavyweight titles up for grabs.

Usyk won the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles ahead of Joshua last September at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Joshua lost the fight by unanimous decision and has since made a number of changes to his coaching staff and training camp in preparation for the rematch.

Both fighters appeared relaxed at the gala, opting for casual attire while the rest dressed to impress.

Heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora smiled as he joked with Joshua.

Former world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield posed alongside Usyk.

Former WWE wrestler Braun Strowman was also in attendance.

The big man, who faced and lost in WWE to WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, is enjoying his time away from wrestling.

Joshua is confident he can regain the belts he held until last September.

The Brit, who has recorded two professional losses, says he “should be victorious”.

He said: “It’s definitely a pressure to sharpen up. It’s a motivator.

“It’s a big fight but I’m sure I can win. My mind is right, my heart is in the right place. I want to get my heart rate up somehow.

“I want to do things in the ring that make me believe in myself.
“I’m sure if I do these things I should be victorious. And that’s exactly where my head is.”
