In early 2021, Jazz announced that she had gained a lot of weight and shared a before and after photo of herself on social media.
Adding a candid note to her fans, she wrote, “As many of you have noticed, I’ve gained quite a bit of weight over the past few years.
“I suffer from binge eating disorder, an illness where I not only get addicted to food, but eat it in large quantities.
“My binge eating, coupled with an increased appetite I feel from some of the medications I’m taking, has resulted in me gaining almost 100 pounds in a little under 2 years.”
The young web personality acknowledged her amazing support system and is keen on making “positive changes” to her body.
She wrote: “I am ready to take the initiative and make positive changes when it comes to my health and body.
“I have a fabulous team that supports me, both professionals and family/friends, but at the end of the day I have to be the one who is committed to improving myself.
“I know I have the power within me to lose weight and I intend to share my progress with all of you. Love you all and thank you for understanding the fight I am fighting for.”

These fights caused her to binge eat, which caused her to gain weight.
She said: “I gained weight and more weight and more weight. And now almost 100 pounds. heavier, here I am today.”
Jazz also revealed to fans that her “typical breakfast” back then included “fast food, maybe a donut or two, and then maybe two bagels.”
Her family watched as she opened up about her food intake and binge eating struggles, and her mother later tried to support her on her journey by monitoring her eating habits, but that only made matters worse.
“I experience fat-shaming from my family,” she said. “It makes me feel really humiliated.”
