Inside GMA’s Ginger Zee’s intimate 42nd birthday at home with close friends and a ‘big surprise’ from her doting husband

The Good Morning America meteorologist has been treated to her own musical production.

Ginger turned 42 on Friday and celebrated with some special guests on Saturday night.
Friends, including ABC News meteorologists Mel Griffin, Tony Morrison, Samantha Wnek, Max Golembo and Kenton Gewecke, brought her birthday wishes.
But the real gift came when her reporter husband Ben Aaron got her friends to produce and star in a special musical just for Ginger.
“Yes we did a surprise musical for Ginger’s birthday,” Mel shared on Instagram, along with a photo of the smiling cast.
And this was no ordinary song and dance number.
Tony revealed on his own Instagram: “Celebrating Ginger Zee with a surprise birthday ‘mu-zee-cal’.
The production enjoyed rave reviews from Ginger.
“My talented husband wrote and directed an off-off-Broadway musical with some of my friends for my birthday,” Ginger shared. “I don’t think there is a better gift.”

Earlier in the day, she shared a photo of herself and her friends having fun outside.
Ginger showed off her toned bikini body while “drinking Bevs all day by the pool” with her friends.
ABC News’ chief meteorologist wore a green triangle bikini as she soaked up the sun.
She was seen jumping back into the pool leaving a splash as she caught up with some friends.
She showed off her slim build, tanned skin and big smile.
EXCITING TIMES
Ginger could probably use a relaxing day of fun, especially after revealing how tense things are at ABC’s weather center.
She shared Videos on Twitter on Thursday, which shows her and other members of her GMA team reporting on an extreme drought and recent extensive flooding in California.
“Inside the tense moments at the weather center this morning,” her tweet to read.
She said she, Max, and Dan Amarante were expecting the “drought monitor.”
“I’m not kidding, we barely caught our breath for half an hour,” she added.
Ginger likened current conditions to those at the Weather Center when they “refresh for hurricanes.”
The meteorologist noted that Max had “some heartburn” and said Dan “worked feverishly” while she “typed away.”
