BENTLEY Motors and the SagerStrong Foundation have teamed up to create a stunning, one-of-a-kind convertible.

Lovingly designed by the Mulliner division of Bentley Motors, the specially designed Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible will be auctioned off in February to raise money for SagerStrong.

The foundation was established by the late NBA broadcasting legend Craig Sager and his wife Stacy to raise money for blood cancer research.

Craig, who died in 2016 after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia, was an enigmatic figure who worked as a broadcaster for over four decades.

The car, estimated to be worth between $400,000 and $500,000, has Craig’s signature embroidered on the headrests, while the hood has been autographed by nearly 60 sports legends.

These include NBA stars such as Shaquille O’Neal, Magic Johnson, Stephen Curry and Charles Barkley.

Some of the other sports legends include Jerry Rice, Ray Lewis, Derek Jeter, Michael Irvin and Andre Reed.

According to SagerStrong, more signatures will be added when the car makes stops at the upcoming Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Game.

The sleek black exterior of the car itself is adorned with a bold floral design, which SagerStrong says is “said to be inspired by the jacket Craig wore while speaking at the 2016 ESPYs.”

The interior is kept comparatively simple and consists mainly of black quilted upholstery combined with red accents.

This luxurious grand tourer is powered by a six-liter twin-turbo W12 with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Described by Stacy as an “iconic piece of rolling memorabilia,” she explained that “Craig had a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship, which was reflected in the suits he tailored and the cars he drove.

“If he were here today he would drive the family around, top to bottom, smiling from ear to ear in that perfect display of his beautiful and powerful spirit.”

Scott Reynolds, Retail Marketing Manager for Bentley Motors, Inc., stated, “Our interpretation of ‘dressing’ the Continental GT Speed Convertible in something Craig would have worn honors him and his vibrant, enduringly positive and uplifting spirit. “

He continued: “It is our endeavor to further enhance this car with the signatures of Craig’s family both on and off the field to create an iconic piece of rolling memorabilia: a beacon of hope for those who knew and loved Craig. “

The online auction will be operated by Julien’s Auction and will end on February 20th at 1:00pm ET.
