Innocent mother of five ‘accidentally’ shot dead in front of horrified family at birthday party

AN INNOCENT mother was ‘accidentally’ shot dead at a birthday party after trying to disarm a gunman in front of her horrified family.
The tragic Sandra Boyd, 36, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest following the incident in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday night.
The mother-of-five was reportedly shot dead by a man with a pistol as she tried to stop him leaving her home in Finglas.
Gardai believe Sandra died after confronting the man in the living room of her home, according to the Irish mirror.
Sandra’s devastated partner Darren Nolan posted several pictures of the couple online and wrote, “Love you forever.”
Her distraught sister Megan said: “Sisters are forever but mine was taken right before our eyes.

“Sandra Boyd, you are my big sister, I adored every bit of you.
“If I knew my goodbye at the airport was forever, I would never let you go.
“I’ll hold your boys and your little girl as tight as you always have. Your love was endless I love you so much.”
Officials believe the incident was witnessed by several of her family members who were celebrating a birthday party.
The suspected gunman then reportedly walked in through the back door armed with a handgun before fleeing the scene.
Officials have launched a manhunt for the murder suspect, but the gun was seized at the scene.
Sources claim the shooter tried to leave the house with the gun to aim at another person he was rowing with.
It is understood the mother was a “completely innocent” victim and had no connection to the ongoing dispute between the shooter and his intended target.
Sandra was described by friends last night as a “loving mum” and devoted sister who had returned to Dublin after an extended stay in the UK in recent years.
She was a mother to four boys and a baby girl, who was born to her and her partner Darren in 2020.
A Gardai spokesman added: “Gardai is appealing to anyone with information regarding this deadly shooting to contact the Gardai investigation at Finglas Garda Station.
“A Garda Siochana is also attractive to anyone driving between 8pm and 9pm in the area of Collins Park, Ballygall Road West or adjacent/surrounding roads, particularly drivers of vehicles or other road users who may over Have video footage (dashcam, GoPro or other) to liaise with Gardai investigation.
“The investigating Gardai can be contacted on 01 666 7500 Finglas Garda Station, on 1800 666 111 on the Garda Confidential Line or at any Garda Station.”
