Infowars host Alex Jones’ wife arrested on Christmas domestic abuse allegations as he blamed ‘medication imbalance’

The wife of CONSPIRACY theorist Alex Jones was arrested on Christmas Eve on charges of domestic violence that right-wing agitators say stemmed from a “medication imbalance”.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Erika Wulff Jones and placed her in the Austin jail around 8:45 p.m. Friday.
Prison records show the 43-year-old man faces misdemeanor assault causing injury to a family member and resisting arrest, search or transportation.
She did not receive a bond yesterday afternoon.
Alex Jones, an Austin resident and founder of the right-wing media group Infowars, declined to say whether he was injured or to elaborate on what happened other than he believes it is related. regarding his wife’s recent medication change.
“It was a private family matter that happened on Christmas Eve,” Jones told the Associated Press.
“I love my wife and care for her and it seems like a form of drug imbalance.”
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to a request on Christmas Day for reports of Wulff Jones’ arrest, and a spokeswoman said she could not provide more information.
Wulff Jones’ attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Jones sued this week for trying to block a subpoena he was issued by the committee investigating the January 6 uprising in the US Congress.
He was speaking at a rally in support of then-President Donald Trump that came before the riot and his Infowars colleague, Owen Shroyer, was charged in connection with it in August. Shroyer has said he is innocent of the charges.
Jones said his wife’s arrest was related to his politics and “it wasn’t some sort of personal hatred or anything”.
