PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A local businesswoman has opened a new facility in the Strip District, specifically focused on teaching women to play golf.
Jan Receski says that women need to play golf to engage in the same kinds of business transactions as men are known to have done on affiliates.

90% of Fortune 500 CEOs play golf and most of them are men. However, only 20% of golfers are women.
Receski, founder and CEO of Par Now, says she has developed a fear-free environment for women – and men alike – to learn how to play and practice golf in an indoor environment. home.

“We have four simulators, they are modern,” Receski told Delano. “You hit a real ball with a real stick at the crash screen. It gives you incredible responses.”
But, there’s so much more to it.
“I also have $86,000 at the putting green, which is a virtual putting green, where you can tap your iPad and put any lie you want, so it’s a great method,” she said. “We also have a rather large sandpit, and having a sand trap inside is unprecedented.”
