“But whether a player big or small makes a mistake, a mistake is a mistake. Rishabh Pant has probably been talked about a lot and it won’t be a big deal even if he is sidelined as a lesson. because these mistakes keep happening.”

“Unbelievable, you would call it stupid and not brave. The way that Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara got you back in this Test match, you took it back to South Africa. This is not the way it is. Cricket Challenge.” – Gautam Gambhir (Talking about Rishabh Pant getting fired)

“He [Rishabh Pant] should definitely play. Are there any great cricketers who haven’t played a hit like this before and get fired for it? It happened in another era, 20-25 years ago. “

The former selector emphasized that Pant is a blessing for Team India and the youngster will learn from his mistakes. Karim explains:

“This is how you learn. You’re going to have to talk to him and make that player understand, to learn a lot from this. He’s a great asset to the team. We forget very quickly, whether we Could I have won the series in Australia if this player hadn’t run.”
