Incredible batting stats from Joyce’s shock loss to Zhang show Brit THREESOME threw as many – but landed the same amount

Joyce was pulled out by referee Howard Foster on ringside doctor’s advice because of a horribly swollen eye.

Zhang was awarded a technical KO win after six rounds of razor-sharp left hands and quick combinations.
Batting stats showed Joyce throwing a total of 464 shots compared to the 180 that came back his way.
But he only landed 85, while Zhang was much more accurate with 82 of his attacks.
The Chinese Olympic silver medalist finished the bout with a batting accuracy of 46 percent, compared to Joyce’s 18 percent.
Zhang, 39, inherited the WBO interim title and mandatory full belt position from Oleksandr Usyk, 36.
Meanwhile, Joyce, 37, has a rematch clause in his contract, meaning he has a chance at a payback if he so chooses.
He said talkSPORT: “When you take risks, sometimes things don’t go your way. I’m just disappointed but I’ll be back.
“It’s not the end of my journey. When I decide to meet him again next time or whenever I will be back.

“I’m going to take some time off and think and watch the tape again and see what I did wrong.”
