In Lil Tjay’s Beef with 6ix9ine, Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Don Q

LIL Tjay was involved with a host of other rappers years before he was shot dead in an attempted armed robbery this week.

In 2020, the 21-year-old rapper sparked an Instagram battle with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Don Q and 6ix9ine.

The dispute is unrelated to Wednesday’s shooting, for which a suspect has now been arrested.

In May 2020, Lil Tjay said in an Instagram post that he was no longer “tryna argue” after insulting the three rappers, according to music magazine Complex.

The rapper explained his actions to his fellow rappers in an Instagram post.

“That’s why I never like to post a lot because I can’t control myself, gets out of control and s**t. It’s my fault for being upset,” Tjay said.

About a week before that apology, Tjay proclaimed himself King of New York when he teased his State of Emergency mixtape.

Then he started fights with A Boogie and 6ix9ine on Instagram.

“ALL THIS ELSE NA NA NA S**T ND SNITCH RAINBOW HAIR S**T GOING ON IN MY CITY A DUBB,” he wrote alongside the teaser.

Don Q, who worked with A Boogie on the HighBridge The Label: The Takeover mixtape, immediately fired back.

“Word to my mother, I’m not rescuing n***as anymore. Next time n***as, n***as see them stripped of everything, respectful. I’ll tell you now,” Don Q said in a video directed at Tjay.

Tjay escalated the fight by replying, “Yo, you can suck my f***ing d**k, how ’bout that, n***a?”

“Yo, Don Q, suck my dick, n***a. Beat the shit out of you, n***a. Are you stupid, n***a? You fucking fool? Y’all n*** it’s really p***y.

The fighting continued as Don Q told Tjay to “come out” if he really means what he says, and Tjay poked fun at Don Q’s mere 500,000 Instagram followers.

A Boogie and Tjay’s beef began when A Boogie subliminally accused Tjay of stealing his sound.

“N***as be mad next time it’s shiny,” Tjay said at the time.

A boogie then replied, “Since this shit is getting out of hand I’m not trying not to hit anyone, I’m just fed up with the craft you bring to the table.”

Well, it’s back in the spotlight now, but this time it’s not just about an Instagram feud.

Rumors circulated on social media that the rapper was dead after multiple shots were fired near the City Place mall in Edgewater.

However, these have been confirmed as untrue.
