A self-proclaimed ‘incel’ has admitted to a sick plot in which he planned to kill 3,000 women for being ‘deprived’ of them, a chilling manifesto has revealed.
Tres Genco, a 22-year-old man who was active on incel websites, pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday to planning a mass shooting at an Ohio university in 2021.
The twisted man wrote in a 2019 statement titled “A Hideous Symphony” that he would join the US Army in preparation for “reaching a reality,” according to an indictment.
He describes this “reality” as “the death of what’s been ‘most denied to him, but also appreciated and fantasized in the opportunity to have but neglected: women,’ Fox News Digital reported.
“I will slaughter out of hatred, jealousy and revenge,” Genco wrote.
“I will take the power of life they are denying me by showing that there is more than just happiness and fulfillment, there is death all encompassing, the great leveler that envelops us all in its seductively calm velvet of stillness and serenity will wear. “
A self-proclaimed incel, short for involuntarily celibate, Genco has been associated with an online community of young men who feel isolated due to their inability to attract women.
Genco’s frustration with the opposite sex took a dangerous turn when he began researching fraternities he wanted to target at an Ohio university.
The manifesto revealed that the incel planned to have “big aims” in the possible attack, aiming for a death toll of 3,000.
In the same year he wrote the horror manifesto, he even bought a bulletproof vest, a bowie knife, two Glock 17 magazines and a hoodie that said “revenge,” Fox reported.
Genco was very active on a popular incel website and occupied several profiles in 2019 and 2020 where he made hundreds of posts.
He even said he copied the worrying behavior of Elliot Rodger, an incel who killed six people and injured 13 in a 2014 killing spree he described as “Retribution Day.”
Aside from the horrific mass shooting outside the University of California, Santa Barbara, Rodger also sprayed the students with orange juice from a water gun.
“I put some orange juice in a squirt gun, I was planning on spraying some foids and couples like ER did,” Genco wrote, according to the indictment.
“When I finally did it was HE’s birthday and I didn’t even know that.”
“Foids” is a derogatory term for women, based on the word “femoid”.
Genco further wrote, “I propose it to all incels, a most empowering action.”
Another document entitled “Isolated” was described by the author as “the writings of the deluded and murderers”.
He signed it: “Your hopeful friend and killer,” according to prosecutors.
Genco was arrested in July 2021 after police responded to a domestic incident at his RV in Hillsboro, cops said. Since then he has been in custody in Butler County.
Police testified at Genco’s trial that his mother was the one who called 911.
She told them her son had a gun and threatened to kill them, police said.
They found a Glock-style 9mm semi-automatic pistol with no maker’s mark or serial number hidden in a heater duct.
And in the trunk of his car, they found another gun with a butt stock attached, several loaded magazines, body armor and boxes of ammunition.
Genco was sentenced to 17 months in prison by a Cincinnati court in 2020 on “terrorist threats.”
He was released in January 2021 and rearrested after federal agents said he was in possession of a rapid-fire weapon.
The 22-year-old pleaded guilty to attempted hate crimes.
He faces a life sentence because his conspiracy included attempted murder, Fox News reported.
