I’m the most eligible bachelor in the world after winning £9million in the lottery – but I still live with my mum

AFTER winning millions in the lottery, most people quickly bought a sprawling mansion and left their old lives behind.

But although lottery winner Kursat Yildirim, 42, has invested a lot of money in fancy cars, designer clothes and watches, he still lives with his mother.

The ex-lag, who was jailed on robbery and fraud charges, hit the jackpot of a whopping £8.72million on September 24 last year.

He left his girlfriend after receiving the windfall and quit his job as a crane operator in Dortmund, Germany.

Kursat – also known as Chico – then went on a massive spending spree, spending £1.3million within a month of his win.

The lottery winner beat the race on his first purchase, spending a staggering £393,000 on his stunning Ferrari 448 Pista.

And Kursat just couldn’t resist buying the tasty Porsche Turbo S2 Cabriolet too, which netted him a further £218,000.

He also completely overhauled his wardrobe and bought luxury clothes from brands like Gucci, Prada and Versace.

The big financier then bought his local pub, a penthouse in Istanbul and a 20-hectare plantation of 6,000 almond trees for a nut business.

Kursat has even been spotted walking around in public with a four-foot alligator on a dog leash, claiming his status as a boastful millionaire.

But the bachelor claims he didn’t take his big win to heart and admits he still lives with his parents in Germany.

He detailed how he still loves to be greeted by his beloved mother when he comes home as he doesn’t like living alone.

Kursat, who came to Germany at the age of 12 with his parents, who were Turkish immigrants, declared: “I live happily with my parents.”

“They’re only here half the year anyway, the other half they live in Turkey.”

They told me your two brothers are gone, we have a large living room with three bedrooms and would be very happy if you stayed with us.

“Honestly I love it too, I come home at night and my mom is there.”

However, there is another shocking reason why Kursat has not flown the nest: He says the real estate market in Germany is too expensive even for a multi-millionaire.

“The bottom line is that with real estate prices in Dortmund, it’s just not worth buying,” he added.

While proud of his living situation, Kursat also spoke about the dark times in his life – which winning the lottery saved him from.

The former steel mill worker admitted he was in a downward spiral before releasing his numbers.

Kursat said he ran into cocaine and alcohol binges during his regular visits to brothels and casinos.

But the former scammer’s life changed dramatically when a pal in Turkey called him to say he’d pocketed the £8.72million lottery prize.

Kursat appeared to be on an exceptionally lucky streak – he won the lottery twice more over the next six months.

He said he kept playing the lottery because after 15 years he “just couldn’t change it” and collected a further £3,800 which he gave away.

Kursat had previously vowed that he would not let his luck change him.

He told German newspaper Bild: “Ninety percent are jealous and think I don’t deserve it. But I do not care.”

“Believe me, I’ll never forget where I come from. I belong to the working class, I will never become an arrogant person.”

Kursat is said to be busy finalizing its latest project, a giveaway initiative called Chico, I Wish.

He reportedly used the money raised from the fundraisers to fund a fan’s penis enlargement surgery.
