“I’m so lucky to be under stress” – Devin Booker gives an extremely confident interview after leading the Phoenix Suns to a clear victory

Devin Booker Had a nice Sunday coming home.

Grand Rapids, Michigan, native scored 30 points to pass Phoenix Suns win 135-108 on Sunday at Detroit Pistons. The “Book,” as he is affectionately called, recorded his 11th game by 30 points of the season. In 29 minutes, he shot 11 of 18 (61.1%). He takes 1 out of 5 3-pointers and 7 out of 10 free throws.

Furthermore, Booker had a fun party with childhood friends and family, many of whom had made the trip from western Michigan.

Booker talked about interacting with fans after his amazing jump. Acting confidently, he replied that all he did was have fun playing. He talks about the plus of having friends and family in the game as a morale boost.

“I’m just happy with this,” Booker said. “I’m so lucky to be stressed. I’m just out there enjoying myself. I have my good friends who[have]my flirting seat, after my drunkenness, that’s why that’s why I’m looking at it. I cringe at them, they sit there exaggerating for me. You know, just having family in the building, being able to do that is so much fun.”

Phoenix Suns keeper Devin Booker has had a strong season, averaging 23.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 35 games. Booker, an All-Star for the past two seasons, has helped the Suns (33-9) reach a league-best record. Phoenix has won three games in a row and six of the last seven.

His best game of the season was on December 29 at home against the OKC Thunder with a 115-97 win. Booker scored a season-high 38 with seven rebounds, five assists and two saves. He’s 12th out of 24, doing 50% from the field and after the arc.

He also had a 38-point match on November 6 at home first Atlanta Hawks in victory 121-117. He added six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. He shot 14 of 21 (66.7%), including 5 of 9 from 3-point range (55.6%).

Booker leads the Suns in points, goals on the field, three points and free throws. He will of course surpass his previous season’s record, making this the best season yet.
