‘I’m sick of the MESS’ – ‘Diva’ Tyson Fury is accused of dodging Oleksandr Usyk and blamed for the fight collapse

TYSON FURY has been dubbed a ‘diva’ by former world champion Tim Bradley and criticized for ‘crouching’ Oleksandr Usyk.
Negotiations for an undisputed heavyweight fight between Fury, 34, and Usyk, 36, have collapsed after failing to reach an agreement on the April 29 fight at Wembley Stadium.

Usyk had surprisingly agreed to only take 30 percent of the pot for the first fight, but wanted a 50/50 split in the rematch.
This was something Fury didn’t want to agree to as the teams couldn’t agree.
And American Bradley, 39, a two-weight world champion, has criticized Fury for his part in the fight not taking place.
Speaking to ESPN, he said: “This Fury issue. He has become a diva in my eyes, a huge diva.
“Fury now understands that he can sell out arenas and it doesn’t matter who he fights.
“I’ve asked him in the past, ‘What about the legacy?’ He says: “I don’t care about the legacy. I’ll take care of the money. Forget the legacy.” I have a feeling he doesn’t want the Usyk fight at all.
“He’s going to come in there with Joe Joyce or whoever, and he can control everything, and he can pay them a small amount of money and go from there.
“A little part of me feels like Fury doesn’t want to fight Usyk because it’s almost like holdover from when he fought it [then 39-year-old Wladimir] Klitschko [in 2015]and he won the heavyweight championships, won all the belts, and then went on to relegation.

“There was nothing else for him. There is no doubt about it. He ducked under him.
“Fury’s the one to blame. I’m sick of the mess. I’m calling that a legitimate duck from Fury, he’s ducking Usyk. He didn’t think Usyk was going to take 70/30. The goal posts got pushed back, they always did moved again.”
Last week Tommy Fury came out to defend his brother’s actions in the break-up Usyk fight.
And he insisted the fight will be between the two undefeated heavyweights.
He told Soccer AM: “He (Tyson) doesn’t like Usyk at the moment. Look, there’s a lot of politics involved in boxing, but I want to say this firsthand.
“The reason this fight is not being fought is not due to Tyson at all. He wants to fight and he proved it to everyone… he went and fought Deontay Wilder after three years.”
He then added: “He will fight any man. He’s not afraid of any man, especially a cruiserweight who can’t do anything anyway.
“You know he’s too small. what will he do It’s not Tyson’s fault. I think all these fights will happen, but they just take a while to be made.”
