I’m married to an NFL star and a crazy lifestyle is NOT as glamorous as TV would have you believe

Being married to a football star may sound like a dream to some – but one NFL spouse has revealed the true reality.
Allison Rochell, 27, is wife of Cleveland Browns DE Isaac Rochell and took to TikTok after watching an episode of “WAGs” on E Network.

Allison – who married the Browns star last year – explained why being the partner of an NFL star isn’t as glamorous as the show suggests.
The couple were uprooted this summer after Rochell, 27, was traded to Cleveland by the Indianapolis Colts.
At 6ft 4 and weighing 260lbs, the imposing former Notre Dame star was drafted by the LA Chargers in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Rochell has amassed an impressive $5.1 million in career earnings and is guaranteed to bag $1.18 million on his new team this season.

Despite the riches just coming into the household, Alisson took to social media to dispel the “lie” that wag life is all about parties and holidays.
Alisson told her TikTok fans, “When my husband got drafted into the NFL, I was like, ‘Wow, this is going to be so glamorous.’
“The show ‘WAGs’ on E! Network had just come out and I just got a glimpse of NFL life.
“That look was a lie.”
“AFTER A WEEK HE LOST HIS JOB”
And job security is high on the list of why the glamor lifestyle is a myth.
She continued: “Changes happen throughout the football season. You could have a two-year contract and still lose your job.
“You could have a three-year deal and still be traded.
“You could have guaranteed money and still lost your job. This lifestyle is kinda crazy.
“However, I’m the kind of person who likes to have a plan and stick to that plan until something changes direction.
“Issac is entering his sixth season in the NFL, so we’ve learned a lot over the past five years.
“He lost his job a week into his freshman season.
“The next day he was dressed [the] practice squad, and almost five months later he was reinstated in the main roster.”
While Alisson also revealed she had to do the 36-hour road trip to Cleveland on her own — because Isaac was “too busy and had a game.”
Rochell impressed for the Browns when he made his preseason debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He recorded a sack in the 24-13 win – but Alisson knows it would be foolish to get too comfortable.

She continued, “There’s a chance we’ll move as far as Cleveland and find out a week later that we’re moving to another city.
“But there’s also the possibility that we move there and stay there for the next seven months or the next three football seasons.
“Although it might be a crazy kind of lifestyle, it’s also fun and I’m just into it.”
The Browns continue their NFL prep against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday with their first game of the season against the Panthers on September 11th.
