LEWIS HAMILTON broke out with his Mercedes team during practice on Friday ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, saying: “I’m freaking out my mind.”
The seven-time world champion, 37, has had a difficult start to the 2022 season as Mercedes struggle to keep up with Red Bull and Ferrari.

The team struggled with porpoise problems throughout the year.
And Hamilton finally let go of the Mercedes garage as he and teammate George Russell struggled with their suspension on the tight, twisty Monte Carlo circuit.
The British ace turned to the cockpit on the team radio when his frustration finally boiled over – he even sarcastically said he needed “elbow pads” for protection.
An enraged Hamilton roared: “It’s so bouncy out here mate.
“I’m fucking going insane.
“I need elbow pads in this cockpit because it’s so bouncing.”
Mercedes struggled all season, with team boss Toto Wolff even calling the car “undriveable”.
The team briefly showed signs of life at last weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix as Russell finished third and Hamilton fought back from 19th to fifth after a puncture on the first lap.

But they returned to their fighting ways in Monaco as local hero Charles Leclerc set the fastest time ahead of Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz.
Championship leader Max Verstappen finished fourth while Hamilton could only do TENTH.
Wolff quickly defended Hamilton and still aimed for his Mercedes – again calling the car “undriveable”.
He told Sky Sports: “I think we have a driving problem, we’ve had that all season and it’s on the rise.
“Sometimes it’s a combination of mistakes and stiffness, today it’s the stiffness.
“It looks like our car is working because we were fast, maybe not at the end where we put on the hard tire and did long runs, but overall I think it’s so undriveable.
“I find [we have to] work on the facility. Try to make them a little more comfortable.
“We want to have a fast car. We’re definitely getting closer, learning more and more, that’s positive.”
