She captioned it: “They don’t want to start this war.”

Taylor’s video was quickly commented on by those offering suggestions on how she might win the fight – with many advising that her mat would fall.

She then went back to the video to add a pinned comment: “I have Velcro strips, I’ll put them down today and I’ll show you where the Carpets are so you guys can see mine in their space.”

“Just paste a note below yours that says ‘What do you think you’re doing?’,” suggested another.

“I like the idea,” Taylor replied.

“Why do they feel entitled to roll and move?” another asked the question, and Taylor replied, “The best part is they wipe their feet on ours, not theirs.”

Another person asked why she and her neighbors all feel “entitled to a mat”, with Taylor replying: “Because each of us has enough space for a mat and we don’t have enough space for a mat.” I was allowed a mat and a small item outside the door on my lease.

“They’re just being weird.”

Another admitted that they would have been annoyed by the same situation, writing: “This little thing would upset me so much that I threw their mat.”

“I’m trying so hard to be greater but it’s crossed my mind a few times,” Taylor added.

She then posted an update acknowledging that she had put velcro on her mat, only to find her neighbors DECIDE it.

She then decided to stick a note underneath the mat for neighbors to see when she moved it.

“I told her to wipe her nasty dirty feet on her own mat but if you guys know a good glue I can take off in 6 months when my contract expires.”

Taylor also took the advice of others and wrote a note under the rug that read: “If you see this, it means you’re moving my mat again, please act according to your age – love your neighbor.”

“If this doesn’t stop her, I’ll start being petty,” she added in the video.
