I’m a top hairdresser, here’s the secret to drying your expensive hair in TWO weeks

Nothing boosts confidence more than having a shiny and large dry skin.
But trying to let it last longer than a day or two can make you feel a little uncomfortable.
Here, Richard Ashforth, co-founder and creative director of Saco Hair, reveals how to keep your curls looking like new at the salon in under two weeks.
Think about how you sleep
I recommend sleeping with a neck pillow to help keep your neck still, the more you rub and rub your hair, the more frizzy hair will collapse and leave you with a nightmare in the morning. .
A silk pillowcase is also great for taming frizz and matches your skin tone.

Shower but don’t wash your hair
Prefer short, warm showers over hot, long showers, and always wear a shower cap.
This is absolutely important to avoid steam and splashes of water that can dry out your hair.
Don’t let your hair overload
Too much is never a good thing so use supplements sparingly.
A little dry shampoo at the roots if your hair is a bit oily or a serum if your hair is starting to curl will help keep everything in place.
One touch of hairspray won’t hurt but don’t use OTT with it.
Avoid vigorous exercise
Choose yoga over a HIIT class to keep preparation to a minimum.
Also, try lightly tying your curls using something soft like an elastic and perhaps into a looser knot rather than a ponytail.
Either way, keeping it off your neck and away from your head when you’re sweating is sure to help.
Don’t be afraid to brush it
A good blow-dry will give your hair a basic structure that will hopefully return after brushing.
Some products – such as Saco Volume Mousse – Has a great ‘remember’ function and once the style is fixed, the hair will return to its shape when combed through.
Do not touch it
Fingers out! When you touch or play with your hair, you will transfer grease and dirt into your hair, which will lose the hairstyle.
Try a new style
Smooth hair will lose style faster than thick hair. In the second week, you may want to style this into a top half, bottom half, or high ponytail.
Add dry shampoo to the roots and you’ll still reap the ‘incredible’ benefits of blow-drying.
