Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier revealed Kate, 40, wears strapless and seamless underwear under her outfits.
Myka, who is the founder of Beaumont Etiquette and was trained by a member of the Queen’s royal household, wrote on Instagram: “Royal Style Hack Alert.
“Have you ever wondered why you never see bra straps?!
“Swipe to see a secret trick that’s a must-have for the royal wardrobe!”
Myka then shared a photo of a nude, strapless shapewear piece, which she claims is key to looking polished in public.
Speaking to Fabulous, Myka said: “Underwear and bras are also considered private intimates and it just wouldn’t do for royals to flaunt intimates.
“There are a few ways to hide bra straps, one option being a bra that’s actually sewn into the piece.
“A second option is strapless shapewear, which is a one-piece that either has snaps at the bottom or has legs attached.
“You can buy them in almost any skin tone so they appear sheer and don’t show through your clothes.
“They want the attention to be on the well-tailored and designed garment, not the underwear.
“Underwear can take away from a great outfit.”
The etiquette pro also stressed how important it is for royals like Kate and Meghan Markle to avoid a dreaded VPL (visible pant line) in pants or a form-fitting dress.
She advised that seamless panties, underwear, or shapewear be used.
Myka, who has published a bestseller Modern Etiquette Made Easy, said John Lewis has a line of shapewear and is a brand known for being a regal port of call.
Previously, the etiquette expert said Kate and Meghan Markle have a sneaky trick to keep their skirts from exploding in public and revealing their underwear.
She said: “Often they wear body suits and clothing that increases static electricity so it’s much harder for something to fly up.
“So you have an underwear that’s almost like a bodysuit, that’s a tactic that’s being used.

“I know when I finished school we were taught that on the pavement, if you’re not using weights or heavy material, you make sure it doesn’t fly up by wearing underwear that connects the fabrics to your body. ”
The Queen is said to have used weights at the hem of her dresses, reportedly from the curtain accessories department of Peter Jones department store.
