“I host some kind of dinner party about once a week,” Erica said in a video that has nearly 500,000 views.

“Let’s talk about hostess gifts that I would make myself or would appreciate that aren’t wine and beer.”

Upfront, Erica said all of these gift options are available for less than $15.

First, the professional party-goer said that you can find a great chocolate bar for not that much money.

“You can often get that for under $10,” Erica said.

“I received this exact bar from a friend after a dinner party and I really enjoyed it,” she said while showing off Tony’s Chocolonely milk chocolate bar with honey almond nougat.

She also showed off another candy bar from Spring & Mulberry, which she said was quite pricey but delicious and felt upscale.

Next, Erica recommended that you bring your hostess a box of fancy pasta.

“I feel like this feels very unexpected, but is still fun and thoughtful and under $10,” she said.

She also displayed a lovely jam which she said would make a great gift for your host.

“How classy would you feel walking to a dinner party with a glass of this chic maralade in hand,” the TikToker said.

“And said to the host, ‘That’s for you tomorrow at breakfast. Thank you for having me.'”

And finally, the hostess said that a wildcard gift could be a nice can of fish.

“Imagine how cute it would be to give them a can of fish on a small, cute savings dish,” Fresh Erica told her followers.

TikTok users took advantage of the comments to praise Erica for her great ideas and to reveal some of her own favorite gifts.

“A good bottle of olive oil!” said one user.

Another person commented, “I’m going for fancy tea or coffee.”

In one of the most popular comments, a user said, “I love bringing a non-alcoholic aperitif or cocktail syrup! Something they might not indulge in, but would enjoy.”

“YES! I’m also a big fan of fancy bitters!” Fresh Erica replied.

“A mate gave me a jar of honey that was from his bees, the best gift,” said another person.

And one user added, “Love receiving jams/spreads/condiments/pickled treats in jars.”
