1. CLEAN VEHICLE

The man advised you to clear out your car or just reduce the weight your vehicle carries while driving.

“More weight means more fuel consumption,” the TikToker said in the video.

2. CHECK TIRES

He also said your tires could affect your car’s fuel economy.

You should check your tire pressure and how much tread your wheels have.

“If they are not in very good condition, you will use more fuel when driving,” explained the car professional.

3. DRIVE REASONABLE

Make sure you use your vehicle’s mechanics properly and in accordance with road traffic regulations.

“Don’t use low gears if you can easily shift into high gears,” the engine expert recommended.

He also recommended not speeding or taking other dangerous actions that wear out the car and make the engine work harder.

More than 2,000 TikTok users watched the instructional video.

Of the thousands of people who watched the clip, nearly 700 TikTokers liked it as they found the fuel saving information useful.
