SOME people get up early out of necessity, while others are just natural early risers.
If you’re looking to start your day earlier, there are four methods one expert believes can help you get there.
The first thing she suggests is to set your alarm clock tone to something calming and peaceful like the sound of birds or ocean waves.
This will allow for a more peaceful transition from sleep to wakefulness.
Responding to someone concerned that a gentle alarm won’t wake them up, Shayna said: “Pick an alarm that gets louder!
“My bird chirping starts with a bird song and gets louder and more aggressive as it goes on!”
And once you’re up, she says to immediately make your bed.
“It gives your brain a small sense of accomplishment,” she writes on her video.
Shayna also suggests taking time to be physically active — it could be as simple as walking your dog around the block.
Finally, she says it’s best to prepare in advance for morning success.
This includes getting enough sleep, choosing your outfit the night before, and even choosing where you’ll sit for breakfast before it’s time to get ready.
“I’m always excited about a new recipe!” she declared.
Concluding, Shayna wrote: “Everybody’s rituals will be different.
“Create something that gets you out of bed!”
As she said, not everyone will share the same ritual.
In fact, one person in the video’s comment joked that what made her wake up early was having a baby.
And if you have kids and need to sleep, one mom shared her genius trick to prevent her kids from waking her from a mid-day nap.
