IF you feel like your internet bill is too high right now, there may be a way to reduce it with a little trick.
Those familiar with haggling may have tried this tactic at the dealership before negotiating the car’s price.
However, there are other payments you can negotiate, including internet bill.
If you don’t know how to negotiate your existing internet bill – luckily, monetization expert Ezekiel Bentancourt has revealed step-by-step operations you can do over the phone on your TikTok channel.
In 43 seconds recordings, Ezekiel narrates a client and represents an internet company.
The customer first initiates the call immediately by saying “I want to cancel my internet bill”.
Likewise, you’ll get a response from the rep asking why and then you tell them it’s because your bill was increased recently.
In this scenario, Ezekiel’s client character uses an increased bill from $70 to $100 and claims that he can get service for a better price from a competitor.
Some may have experienced this at an increasing rate every year.
Even though the rep apologized and offered to reduce the bill to $90 – remember that this is still more than what the customer paid before.
So the customer then says, “That’s not going to work, I’d hate to leave, especially since it costs more money to get a new customer than it does to keep one.”
The agent agreed to reduce the bill to $70 – but the bargaining doesn’t have to end there if you don’t want to.
In fact, Ezekiel then whispered, “Never accept the first offer.”
So the character then asks the agent to go one step further and beat the competitor’s price, and the bill drops another $10.
In other words, you will save $40 in this case and $10 before the price increase goes into effect.
