AN ADULT film star and single mother who has starved herself to feed her children and turned to camming during the pandemic has revealed why she thinks many are entering the sex industry.

Gigi Dior said in an interview with The US Sun that “I’ve only recently met myself”.

Dior, who recently made headlines after luxury fashion brand Christian Dior sued her for trademark infringement, has been a lifelong survivor

“I first had sex voluntarily after being raped multiple times and having been abused out of context for years,” Dior said.

“I’ve met a lot of girls in this industry who have a similar past to mine. I think that we feel psychologically drawn into this industry.

“I’m by no means saying that everyone in this industry has experienced the same journey, but I’m afraid it’s pretty common.”

Dior was an infomercial queen and an award-winning model that has spanned New York runways, print advertising for clothing and retail items, and stock photography.

She also acted as an extra on the soap opera One Life to Live and the show Rescue Me. In 2006 she was married and settled in New Jersey.

But her now ex-husband gave her ultimatums, including giving up modeling. She chose him and couldn’t go back to modeling.

“I started having kids, and every time I mentioned modeling again, I got pregnant again,” Dior said. “It was a very dark time in my life.

“I became a full-time mom with no source of income. I was trapped in every way. I planned to escape several times, but there was always something that drew me back.

“There was always another pregnancy, a bad car accident, or an illness that kept me from going.”

Eventually she filed for divorce and a restraining order and left. But she was broke with kids.

“All of our accounts have been sanitized,” Dior said.

“I had to borrow money from my parents just to run the water and electricity in my house. I had to buy food stamps just to feed my kids.

“I stopped eating because I didn’t want to take food away from my kids. The stress I felt was palpable. My car was confiscated and I thought about suicide several times.”

She then developed a bleeding ulcer that she said “got so bad it was eating through my stomach and perforating it.”

“I was in septic shock and my blood counts were dangerously low,” Dior said.

“I had to move out of the house I rented and downsize because I couldn’t afford it anymore.

She did not make it.

“I fainted. I woke up to my daughter standing over me crying,” she said.

Dior was able to drive herself to the emergency room, where she underwent surgery to remove part of her stomach and have her intestines resected.

“When I woke up, I remembered just crying and crying,” Dior said. “I felt like my life was over. I didn’t know how to pay the medical bills. I didn’t have insurance.

“My weight dropped to 86 pounds. I looked like a skeleton. I had to pick myself up again and fight through life.”

CAMMING AND FIGHTING THE DEMONS

Then the pandemic paralyzed the country. That’s when she discovered Onlyfans and Camming and started her new career.

“I’ve always been fascinated by sexuality,” Dior said. “I wanted to explore this side of me more and needed the money so I decided to cam with Chaturbate.

“I was so insecure about my scar and my age, but everyone in the community was really welcoming,” she said.

But there are so many critics who look down on sex workers and mock adult movie stars for their bodies. She was told to “eat a cheeseburger” and mocked for being skinny.

“Mental health in this industry is a real problem,” Dior said. “People in this industry struggle daily with body criticism, stigmas thrown around without due diligence, and troubled pasts.

“I probably got into the industry for the wrong reasons and I’m sure my past has weighed heavily on my decisions, but I’m stronger now.

“My reason for being in the industry now is to explore and reclaim my sexuality that was stolen from me at a young age.

“I’m still battling the demons of my past, but my future looks brighter than ever.”
