In a video uploaded to TikTok, Scotty described it as a “car hack that no one knows about.”

He then told the audience that there are many different products that can be used to fog up your windshield.

But there is a certain product that does the job even better: polish.

He said, “It’s not wax, it’s a polish.”

“You just put some on a towel and polish the whole thing (windshield).

“Once it’s dry, you just wipe it down and clean it.”

Although this sounds quite simple, removing dirt from the windshield is the most important part.

After Scotty did just that, he explained the real secret behind the trick.

“Now that you’ve removed all the dirt, the moisture won’t be able to stick as much,” Scotty continued.

“There is no moisture build-up on the inside like a dirty windshield – the part most people don’t think about.”

Scotty also warned motorists that an automaker is making a mistake by replacing a popular engine.

The automotive veteran took to social media to warn drivers that Toyota has replaced the V6 engines in its Highlander with a four-cylinder turbo engine.

Elsewhere, a masterful Ford salesman has revealed to motorists how to reprogram a new set of keys using a hidden button.

Jorge Lopez has provided expert insight into what drivers can do if they lose their vehicle smart key.
