I’m a lottery attorney who has represented one of the biggest winners of all time – my advice is no fun but will protect your jackpot

A LOTTO lawyer representing millionaires has some tough advice for the future winners of the $521 million Mega Millions jackpot.

While many people dream of what they would do if they won the lottery big, few people know what steps they actually need to take to win their winnings back.

Rob Blenner, a lottery attorney who represented one of the biggest winners of all time, has advice for future jackpot winners:

According to legendary lottery attorney Rob Blenner, who has represented some of the biggest lottery winners in history, the process is straightforward.

The first step: “Tell as few people as possible,” he said in an interview with WFLA.

“It really comes down to security and privacy for you and your family,” he said.

He represented Shane Misslerthen 20 years old when he won the $451 million jackpot in Florida in 2018.

“And if it’s such a gigantic sum,” he said, referring to the multi-million dollar winnings, “hide.”

“Go,” he continued.

“Get out of town.”

When Missler hit a big hit, Blenner helped the winner organize a private jet and armored escort to the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee to collect his prize a lump sum payment of nearly $300 million.

As soon as people know you’ve won, they’ll come forward and make inquiries, he said.

He said he still gets emails and calls from people asking him to introduce him to Blenner in hopes of getting some of the money, even though he’s no longer representing the man.

“You have to set up your team, your financial experts, your tax attorney,” he said.

But Missler was thrilled with the award, Blenner said, and he’s been spending his time on vacation with the family ever since.

“Shane just loved it,” Blenner said.

“He believes good comes to people who do good.”

Missler was recently spotted at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis, where he was staying at a budget hotel, according to sources.
