I’m a home stylist – my simple trick will make your bathroom look expensive and it’ll only cost you $10

Most of us want our home to look clean, elegant, and comfortable.
However, how do we achieve that look without spending hundreds or thousands of dollars, it is confusing.
One woman, a home stylist by the name @the_avantgarde on TikTok, has gained a wide following thanks to her home decor tips, which teach viewers how to make the most of their space without leaving the house unattended. costly.
Recently, she shared her tricks for creating the bathroom is like a five star hotel.
BATHROOM BOTTLE
In the clip, she shows the inside of the shower cluttered with boxes of Pantene shampoo and conditioner, locust shower gel and various bottles of facial cleanser.
“Don’t leave your bottles like this,” she advises.
“Instead, use homogenous bottles and mount them on your wall.”
She filled three bottles of military green matte, which can be found on Amazon for as little as $10.
She then prints a white label with black letters with the names of each product and their brand.
After labeling, she attached the bottles to the shower wall using sticky hooks.
“This will maximize the space and give you a taller look.”
Her followers were impressed with the results:
“Reminds me of a hotel,” one person commented.
“TikTok always reminds me that I am lacking,” another added.
FLIP YOUR MATERIAL
For ways to make the rest of your home feel like a five-star hotel, says a concierge at a luxury UK hotel called Daffodil, shared some helpful tips.
Her first piece of advice is to remember to turn the mattress regularly.
“It should be done at least every two weeks,” she explains. “As well as this, broadcast it without any paper for at least 30 minutes.”
WOODEN FITTING SHEET
Kate’s most surprising tip was to leave behind a well-fitting scarf.
“When do you see a piece of paper fitted in a hotel?” asked the hotel manager.
“When you choose a plain sheet of paper, you can easily recreate the ‘hospital corner fold’.”
She goes on to explain how to recreate the plush look: “Raise the edge of the sheet to form a 45-degree angle with your mattress.
“Then pull and tuck the fabric hanging underneath the mattress. You can also do this with your comforter; just lift and pull.”
WRINKLE REMOVER
Revealing one of her top tips, Kate recommends relaxing any creases in fabric with lotion.
“Just pour water (old tap water) over your almost-cleaned bed (keep the corners sticking out) and spray and shake your bed sheet or comforter until smooth and wrinkle-free. ,” she suggested.
Speak Pillow
And as far as the hotel manager is concerned, there’s one essential item to give your bed a first-class hotel feel – and that’s the pillow.
“Many pillowcases will be too big for pillows, so remember to pack your pillowcases and make them both nice and neat,” she advises.
“This is very simple: Push the excess material inside the pillowcase out of the gap.
“Take the other side and wrap the rest of the shell inside to create a neat envelope. If possible, add two pillows to any one pillowcase for extra roundness.”
Turn it on
To finish off the product, she recommends placing a folded cloth in the bottom and giving it a final sip of the lotion.
