I’m a Dunkin employee – people are disgusted when I show them our ‘horrible’ clogged pipe but it doesn’t affect your meal

A DUNKIN DONUTS employee has revealed what a day in her life is really like – and people find it disgusting.
In a now-deleted video, the employee captured mud coming out of a clogged pipe at her store – but it wasn’t what people thought.
The woman, who claims to be a worker at her local Dunkin’ Donuts location and uses @kaelin_1088 on TikTok, initially shared the “nasty” video to her page.
The horrifying video shows a thick brown, black and white slime believed to be oozing from a pipe in the kitchen and it has garnered tens of thousands of likes.
Furthermore, viewers incorrectly assumed that the pipe was actually one of Dunkin ‘Donuts’ espresso machines and began to defame the company.
In a follow-up video, however, Kaelin clears the metaphorical mess.
“We’ve noticed that the pipes are like being pushed back, there’s water all over the place,” she said explain.
“What comes out is what’s inside the drain, not in the coffee maker itself.”
Kaelin adds: “The coffee machine is cleaned regularly.
“It is always clean.
“The blender, the ice compartment, it’s all clean.”
In the second follow-up videotapes, she even revealed her Dunkin’ place was recently tested for cleanliness.
Kaelin said the original video was exaggerated to get views, but she posted it to educate people about what it really feels like to work at one of America’s most famous coffee companies.
“I want people to know that’s what I have to do.
“That’s what we have to do in the real world at any job.”
Concluding, she warns people that drains aren’t just clogged in Dunkin’ Donuts; they are clogged everywhere.
“Those are the sewers.
“Anything that gets clogged in the drain is like a clogged drain in your house,” she says.
And in response to a concerned comment on her first follow-up video, Kaelin made sure the coffee was safe to drink.
In a statement to The Sun, Kaelin shared similar feelings.
“What is seen in the video is simply the finished product I cleaned the pipe.
“Things lying in the sewers have never touched anyone’s food or drink.
“I was able to clean the drain; I cleaned it very well using bleach. ”
She also noted that many TikTokers thought she would get fired for posting her videos and even said they wanted to fire her.
However, she said that she is still working for the company and does not believe she deserves to be terminated from her position.
“Until now, I have not received any consequences for my actions, and I do not believe that I will receive any.
“The video is just a joke and I don’t want anyone to see it [as] as seriously as I did. ”
Kaelin added that she didn’t expect the video to become so popular.
Dunkin’ Donuts did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Kaelin’s controversial video broke out as other workers at popular restaurant chains revealed incredible secrets about their own locations.
