A TikToker named Kayleigh, also known as @CleanWithMeKayleighX, has reached over 307,500 followers on TikTok thanks to all of her fast-paced cleaning videos.
Many people rely on their videos for instructions on how to clean some of the trickiest parts of their home.
Sink drains tend to accumulate a lot of dirt and grime if not cleaned regularly.
Kayleigh begins her video by unscrewing the cap on her drain to reveal all the grotesque dirt underneath.
In her caption for the video, she wrote: “It was so gross. I really wanted to throw up.”
She runs water into a bucket to soak the top of the drain.
She then uses a product called The Pink Stuff by Star Drops, which claims to be a “miracle cleansing paste.”
She uses a toothbrush to scrub away all the dirt as quickly as possible.
After that, she dumps a bunch of water over the area and watches it all go smoothly down the drain.
Next, she uses the toothbrush to scrub the top of the drain that she originally removed.
She screws all the parts of the drain back together, but she’s not quite done yet.

Finally, she sprays the entire inside of the sink with disinfectant and wipes it down with a dry rag.
Someone in their comments section asks, “What if you don’t have the pink stuff? What else can you clean it with? “
Kayleigh replies, “Vinegar.”
One impressed TikToker commented, “Omgggg I DID NOT know you could do that.”
Another satisfied TikToker wrote: “Who else smiled when they saw the sinkhole after that scrub?”
Some people in their comments section warn against cleaning sink drains this way.
They claim that this process could lead to serious harm.
One user wrote: “I did this and flooded my kitchen! It’s not worth it.”
Kayleigh’s guide to cleaning sink drains obviously worked for her, but that doesn’t mean it works for everyone.
