ULTA has aisles for beauty products, and it can be overwhelming to choose one for your needs.
So, why not get advice from a medical esthetician, aka a certified beautician, who shares three products worth buying and three products worth skipping.
Esthetician, who uses the username sixpackandbeautyqueen_ on Instagram, disclosure her recommendations in a video.
According to estheticians, Ulta’s first product not to be missed is the exfoliating brush.
“They’re very abrasive, cause premature aging, and it destroys your skin barrier. It’s not,” she explains.
She then recommends the Aquaphor Lip Repair + Protect treatment for those with dry chapped lips.
Next, the beauty expert said Instagram-famous Sugarbear Hair Vitamins are her must-have products.
“I hate to crack it for you but these vitamins won’t do you any good or your hair.”
She has nothing but praise for Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel.
She calls it “one of the top moisturizers I recommend” and adds that it’s “thin and non-greasy.”
Estheticians can only shake their heads and repeat “no” to Mario Badescu facial sprays, specifically the version with aloe, herbs, and rose water.
Last on her list of recommendations is a beauty tool called the jade face roller, which is said to help reduce inflammation and puffiness.
Another thing you shouldn’t have in your routine, says the expert, but if you have a jade roller it won’t harm you, so go ahead if you have one. ”
In addition, a Former Ulta employee shared her “holy grail” products that are worth your money at the beauty shop.
