The TikToker had on-screen caption above the clip that read, “The car can’t start.”

Under the hood, he showed viewers the location of the engine starter, signal wire, and power cable.

He proceeded to disconnect the signal line.

He then hooked up the car to a small multimeter to measure the voltage on the black wire connected to the vehicle’s battery.

He touched the inside of the signal line with the charger’s red wire.

The voltmeter device read 12.2 on its screen.

When the gadget informed the TikTok creator why his car wouldn’t start, he added on-screen text to the video that read, “The starter motor is damaged.”

He then went on to explain that the car’s carbon brush was “stuck by mud.”

The auto professional’s video showed him grabbing an L-shaped socket wrench.

He tapped the tool near where he showed the car’s signal wire was under the hood.

After that, he simply jumped into the front seat of the vehicle and was able to start it without any problems.
