I’m a bodybuilder – I’m unrecognizable after losing 190 pounds and my intense leg training has helped me become a gym baddie

A BODYBUILDER credited her with helping her leg workouts while she was losing 190 pounds.
Alicia M Briggs, who goes by @thebrownmamimelts, showed fans step-by-step how to handle leg day in a recent video.

Briggs started “bad guys” training, demonstrating squats on the Smith machine.
She stated that they were front squats with a barbell and that she did the exercise three times for one minute.
Briggs explained that she does the front squats because she “tends not to do them.”
The bodybuilder then transitioned to the deadlift, pushing the barbell down rather than up.

Though she’s not a fan of it, Briggs still used a Smith machine.
“It’s great for perfecting form,” she said.
“Even though I hate it, it keeps me going.”
Then it was time for cup squats with heels elevated and 70-pound weights.
“I’m so proud of myself for making progress in this post bodybuilding show period,” Briggs noted.
Then she raised RDLs with landmine heel, which means you’re lifting the end of a barbell.
Briggs said she couldn’t get the right form down.
To fix that, she got off the weights she was standing on.
“Because it’s all about the form,” she said.
“It’s about functionality, not aesthetics.”
Next came elevated squats, in which Briggs braced one foot and crouched on the other leg while holding a barbell.
“I really had to push here because my pre-workout ran out,” she said.
“Your girl was dead.”

“I’m tired, but I still persevered.
“If I can do it, you can do it.”
