I’m a 71 year old bodybuilder – look at my transformation after starting weightlifting in my 60’s

After undergoing life-changing surgery, a female bodybuilder in her 70s has transformed herself into a muscle goddess.
Renee, who is now 71, shared her progress in a video posted on TikTok.
“Someone asked me what I looked like before I started bodybuilding,” Renee said in the description Video.
“This video shows my transformation from early 60s to 70s,” she said.
The montage begins with images of her at age 58 undergoing surgery to fix a longstanding back problem.
“Even though I was always active, I developed spondylolisthesis in my early adulthood,” Renee said.

“I finally had a lower lumbar spine fusion at age 58,” she said.
“I started lifting weights when I was 60.”
In the video, the budding bodybuilder looks fit at first, but not particularly muscular.
In the earliest images, Renee can also be seen in relatively formal attire, including an elegant gold evening dress.
But after the surgery, of which she showed X-rays in the video, Renee’s body began to change rapidly.
She developed six pack abs, muscular legs and toned arms.
All later pictures show Renee in bikinis, also in the latest picture.
In this shot, the bodybuilder can be seen in a green sequined bikini with a statement studded belt.
To complete the look, she also wore a pair of heels, a metallic scarf with tassels, and a white cowboy hat.
Renee got a lot of praise for her performances in the comments section below her video.
“You are an inspiration!” said one TikTok user.
“Amazing,” said another.
“Gorgeous and CLASSIC,” said another commenter.
Renee isn’t the only senior who continues to value fitness well into her golden years.
