MARTYN FORD has been ‘gutted’ after watching his friend Eddie Hall lose to Hafthor Bjornsson – but is ready for revenge.
The Hollywood movie star was at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium to support Hall.
But the night of competition ended in defeat to the strongest man in the world Britain with Bjornsson – nicknamed Thor – winning the six-round exhibition of points.
Ford, 39, told iFL TV: “I just have feelings for Eddie, as a friend. But I’ll tell you what, I’ll definitely take him down.
“I want to take Thor, 100%, 100%. In my eyes, technically, he’s good, he’s well-trained.
“But I’m going to beat Thor, 100%, I don’t know if I’m going to ‘knock him out’ but I’m going to win. I’m back on my own, 100%.”
Actor Ford – who is 6ft 8in tall and heavier 21 STONES – admits he would only fight Bjornsson if blessed by Hall.
He said, “If Eddie vs Thor can be done and Thor wants to continue boxing, we’re not a million miles apart.
“I don’t have anything personal against Thor, I don’t even know him. Technically, I really want to be myself.
“I’m not taking anything away, this is Eddie’s night, I’m here for Eddie, I’m not here to call on anyone.

“Thor wants to continue boxing, do I want to play boxing? F*** yeah. If Eddie wants me to do it, will I? F*** yeah.
“If Eddie didn’t want me to do it, would I? No, I wouldn’t.”
Ford made his boxing debut April 30 ahead of ‘Iran Hulk’ – but was delusional about his chances against Game of Thrones star Thor.
“He’s very well-taught, moves well, composes, but he’s not venomous, man,” he said.
“I know you don’t want to go there, but it’s okay. I really want to get back to myself, back to myself.”
