‘If he goes to England he has to change’ – Jose Mourinho warns Man Utd and Chelsea over Victor Osimhen transfer
JOSE MOURINHO has suggested Premier League clubs must help Victor Osimhen move if they sign him.
The Nigerian striker has been rumored to be joining both Manchester United and Chelsea.
Osimhen has become one of Serie A’s most prolific forwards, scoring 14 goals in 16 games this season.
His record in front of goal has put Napoli top of the table and he even scored a world champion against Roma in the last game.
However, former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham manager Mourinho has warned he will have to adjust his game if he moves to England.
The current Roma boss suggested that English officials would crack down on him if he went into hiding.
Mourinho insisted the referees in Italy condoned the behavior but believes the 24-year-old could have the same impact as Didier Drogba.
He said: “He’s on the same level as Drogba but Didier hasn’t dived.
“If Victor changes, then OK. I would buy it if I was in a club with a lot of money.
“However, if he goes to England one day he has to change because in Italy they put up with that behavior whereas in the Premier League they would hit him hard.

“I told him he scored a wonderful goal and needs to stop diving so much.
“His goal was fantastic, he did the same when we met earlier this season so he’s a fantastic player.
“But he’s not allowed to dive.”
However, the forward will not come to the Premier League on the cheap as it has been reported that he will cost £115million.
Osimhen is in his third season at Napoli after joining from Lille for £70million in 2020.
