Despite the new developments, police maintain that this person was not present when the killings took place.

“Detectives are aware of a sixth person listed on the residence’s lease, but do not believe that person was present during the incident,” police said in a expression.

On November 13, three housemates, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, were stabbed to death early in the morning.

Kernodle’s friend Ethan Chapin, 20, was also murdered.

He didn’t live in the house but stayed the night.

Two other housemates were unharmed but were in the home at the time of the attack.

Phone logs show Goncalves and Mogen made several unanswered phone calls in the morning – but one reported the attacks by midday.

Steven Goncalves, Kaylee Goncalves’ father, told Good Morning America that he believed his daughter had a stalker.

“Did [Kaylee] Ever spoken to you about a potential stalker or someone she felt uncomfortable with?” the reporter asked.

“She did,” Goncalves said. “I don’t deserve to grieve the way I want to grieve.

“I want to be able to have justice first.”

The Moscow Police Department has found no evidence of a stalker and has asked the public to come forward if they have any new information.

“Anyone with information about a potential stalker or unusual cases is asked to contact the tipping hotline,” the department said.

The victims lived in a house that served as a student residence for years.

The house has three floors with two rooms and one bathroom per floor.

The victims were found on the second and third floors of the residence, and Moscow police believe the attack was targeted.

However, they are not sure if the “target was the apartment or the occupants”.

Many stayed at home after the killings, and the school offered them distance learning due to the fear plaguing the community.

Moscow Police have asked for information to be shared through their tipping hotline 208-883-7180.
