PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Railway lines on T are not running due to icy conditions.
This affects the Silver, Red and Blue Series.
The Port Authority told us the lines were frozen in the yard, preventing any service from getting out.
Part of the overhead power line went down near the railway hub in the South Hills this morning, rendering the carriages unusable.
A shuttle bus is being offered between South Hills Village and downtown Pittsburgh, but it can only serve high-level platforms.
It is not known when rail service will be able to resume operations.
