ARSENAL legend Ian Wright has credited three players with changing the Gunners’ fortunes after their recent fantastic run.
According to Wright, 58, Benjamin White, Gabriel Magalhaes and Aaron Ramsdale are the key pillars behind Arsenal’s recent stellar streak.
He said: “I love the fact even with Benjamin White when he comes on the pitch and he says, ‘I don’t watch football a lot, I just play football’.
“I like the fact that he’s brave enough and strong enough to admit it because he can deal with what happens with that.
“But when you look at his performance next to Gabriel, it’s very solid with the goalkeeper. It’s a very good team, those three are solid.
“They’re playing with the central defenders – on Thomas Partey, on [Albert] Sambi Lokonga. “
“What Arsenal are looking like now, with the structure and the way the team plays, you can see if it takes a long time, they do it.
“But if a defender has to run it into the midfield and then go from there, we’ve seen Ben White score Emile Smith Rowe the day before.

“So we’re looking at a team with a lot of confidence.”
The Gunners are unbeaten in their last ten matches in all competitions, including eight in the league – winning six of them.
Arsenal seem to be in trouble after lost their opening three games against Brentford, Chelsea and Man City.
But Mikel Arteta’s side since then have been a completely different team, with Wright’s super trio having started every game together since.
Their incredible change of form has seen them rise from bottom of the table to fifth and just three points behind Man City in second.
After conceding 9 goals in the opening 3 matches, the Gunners only conceded 4 of the last 8 matches, keeping 5 clean sheets.
And England goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale won plaudits when he made one of the saves of the season saved James Maddison’s free kick from 20 yards.
Ramsdale will likely make his England debut tonight against San Marino, meanwhile Emile Smith-Rowe can also start for the Three Masters.
Smith-Rowe came on from the bench to take the first win of the game England’s 5-0 win over Albania on Friday.
Gabriel was also recently called up to Brazil’s first team and was benched as they secured a World Cup spot with a 1-0 win over Colombia last week.
England can play theirs youngest party of 62 years old tonight, with Bukayo Saka, Smith-Rowe and Ramsdale all equally likely to recommend.
Wright also thinks Benjamin White deserves a call-up to the England team and suggests that boss Gareth Southgate has ‘bypassed’ him the wrong way.
