I work at Walmart – we’re not stupid, we always know when self-checkout customers are stealing even when we’re not around

WALMART employees claim they always know when self-checkout customers are stealing – emphasizing “we’re not stupid”.

A Walmart employee ripped up customers with sticky fingers, revealing that store employees know when customers are stealing from self-checkouts even when they’re not around.

The proclaimed employee revealed the behind-the-scenes secret in a TikTok video captioned, “So you guys really don’t think we know you guys are stealing?”

In the video, the employee scrolls through his worker smart tablet, which shows how many items each customer is scanning at the self-checkout and the total amount they have paid.

Several TikTok users slammed the employee in the comments section, claiming the company “don’t pay her enough” to stop her from stealing.

“You work a 9-5, leave me alone to steal,” wrote one patron.

Another person said, “They don’t pay you enough for this girl.”

Several patrons claim that the workers, despite knowing about the theft, are “doing nothing”.

“Okay, and you’re still doing nothing,” one person scolded.

“Girls I walked out with a cart full of stuff and the lady on the door said have a nice day,” claimed another.

A third reviewer wrote: “You’re just standing there.”

Walmart did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The US Sun.

Walmart thief ‘smitten with 99-year ban’

The red flag comes after a man accused of stealing from a Walmart in Washington was reportedly put out of business with a 99-year ban.

The nearly hundred-year sentence was allegedly for less than $40 worth of stolen shoes.

“A Spokane Valley deputy contacted a suspect inside Walmart who was wearing a pair of shoes he did not purchase,” the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old suspect reportedly walked the aisles of the Spokane Walmart wearing the shoes that “still had the tag on.”

Her report said a worn pair of shoes was placed where the suspect had been standing, allegedly in place of the stolen ones, and the deputy was pointed out by an employee.

He made it out of the store and was followed by authorities.

While the suspect attempted to flee, the sheriff’s office said he “quickly realized it was futile and gave up.”

The statement concludes the 99-year-old trespasser suspect was beaten by all Walmarts and charges of third-degree theft and resisting arrest.
