I work at Hooters – my colleagues have been fired for not obeying bizarre “school” rules set by bosses

A HOOTERS employee claims her co-workers were fired for allegedly not following rules imposed by managers.

TikToker Jardin May claimed one of the workers was fired because of her hair.

The unnamed employee apparently dyed her hair red.

She was reportedly asked by bosses to change color, but refused and was fired.

May claimed that bosses require their employees to look the same as they did when they were hired. DailyDot reported.

In another allegation, May claimed a worker was fired when he refused to have his piercings removed.

They reportedly had a stud in each nostril and a ring septum piercing.

The TikToker claimed Hooters allows its employees to wear a single stud piercing.

May’s allegations sparked anger among TikTokers online.

One said: “I feel like they have rules like high schools do.”

Another devastated Hooters when they said the company is “fucking strict.”

A third asked: “What is this? The military.”

Some TikTokers denied the allegations, as one person claiming to be a Hooters worker said employees can change hair color as long as they use a natural dye.

The Sun has reached out to Jardin May and Hooters for comment.

Last month, The Sun reported how Hooters Girls get their tights for uniforms.

TikToker @kenzjee claimed curious social media users asked her about the restaurant company’s pantyhose machine.

In the clip, which was uploaded to the popular app last month, she said: “People keep asking me about our tights machine and I have to buy tights today so I guess I’ll just make a video about it.”

“WHAT A SCREAM”

The tiktoker’s colleague shows the dispenser and a $5 bill is inserted into the machine.

Social media users were confused that Hooters girls appear to have to pay for their own tights as part of the workwear.

The Sun reached out to Hooters for comment on the uniforms and the $5 payment. Hooters did not respond to our request for comment.

Hooters are known for their “Hooter Girls” – Waitresses wearing low-cut tops and shorts to serve food.

There have been several iterations of the uniform since the Florida restaurant’s inception in the 1980s.

Last October, the Restaurant chain was blown up by some employees as some waitresses described the uniform as “restricted to minors”.

Work attire changed from a cropped white crop top and orange shorts to a black or orange tight T-shirt and ‘crotch string’ uniform shorts.

In response, Hooters said, “As we continue to listen to and update the image of Hooters Girls, we make it clear that they have the opportunity to choose between traditional and new uniforms.

“They can determine which style of shorts best suits their body style and personal image.”

The statement continued, “Our Hooters Girls provide input at every stage, including future garments and accessories.

“We remain committed to strengthening our most valuable asset, the Hooters Girls, and working together to provide the best Hooters experience for our guests and employees.”
