A NORTH Carolina man who won a $100,000 lottery prize has shared the kind advice that helped him nab the money.

Smith told the NC Education Lottery that he went to this particular store at the recommendation of a friend and bought a lottery ticket.
“We wouldn’t have known about it if it weren’t for him,” Smith said in a press release.
Smith won the lottery while he and his wife were celebrating their wedding anniversary on the beach.
After winning the $100,000 prize, he told the NC Education Lottery that he invited everyone to breakfast.

“I’ve always dreamed of winning a big prize in the lottery,” Smith said.
His prize money of $100,000 was $71,016 after taxes.
Smith told the lottery group he plans to use his winnings for home improvement and a fence for his family’s new puppy.
The NC Education Lottery accepted Twitter to congratulate Smith on his big win.
In the press release, the NC Education Lottery announced that two $2 million prizes and four $100,000 prizes were still up for grabs from the $100 million mega cash game.
Previously, lottery winner Mark Maltz revealed how he won THREE times in just one day after picking up tickets from a local gas station.
He hit the jackpot and won a prize of more than $325,000 in 2018.
Another gambler previously revealed how he won the lottery for the fourth time in his life.

In January, Mike “Lucky” Luciano revealed his latest big haul – bringing his total winnings to $4.6 million.
Amazingly, the recent win, worth more than $1 million, was the third big cash prize he had won in the past six years.
