I won £1 million in the Euromillions when I was 18

A WOMAN seems lucky after becoming the youngest person to win the Euromillions and has now won £1.4k on a £5 bet.

Edinburgh’s Jane Park won £1million in 2013 aged just 17 and her luck hasn’t flagged.

She landed a triple at the Cheltenham Festival last month at combined odds of 281/1.

And she had her late grandpa to thank for the win, as one of her picks was a huge underdog.

Jane wrote online: “Only I would put an 18/1 winner in there, Grandpa Johny taught me all about the horses.”

She backed State Man with 27/10, The Nice Guy with 18/1 and A Plus Tard with 3/1.

To top it off, Jane didn’t even watch the race and only realized she’d won when she saw her betting balance.

She wrote online: “Cannae believe it myself it was like the money came from when I went to Bet365 and then realised.

“I put it on and forgot it, I couldn’t believe my eyes.”

The social media star even won £70 on a £5 free bet on the races.

At the time of her £1million win, which made her the youngest Euromillions winner, Jane was working as a temp and earning £8 an hour.

At the time she was living in a two bedroom flat in Edinburgh that she shared with her mother Linda.

After the win, she quit her job, booked a two-month vacation in Magaluf, bought a Chihuahua, two houses, cars and a range of designer items.

But all was not smooth for Jane, who admits she was “miserable” about the money.

Speaking to LADbible, Jane said: “I understand how easily your life can spiral out of control. I could feel it happening.

“Winning the lottery made me unhappy.”

She claimed her life was “empty” and planned to sue national lottery operator Camelot, saying: “Sometimes it feels like winning the lottery has ruined my life”.

Jane now lives in Dubai and almost died of sepsis after a botched Brazilian butt lift.

She previously said: “I was put on IV and ended up with blood poisoning.

“I remember being in there for about a month and when I got to the hospital the first night she said, ‘If you left that 24 hours later, it could have been fatal’.”

The social media star was banned from driving for 18 months after being convicted of drunk driving after being caught behind the wheel at three times the legal limit.
