I withdrew $1 from my fiance’s Valentine’s Day gift fund every time she yelled at me

Valentine’s Day marks the time when couples everywhere celebrate their love.
While some couples opt for a cozy movie night at home, others opt for romantic gifts and hearty dinners.
A man named Isaac Ramirez said he planned to give his fiancée an expensive gift, but that idea has changed over time.
In a TikTok videoHe began: “Last year, I spent $360 on my fiancé’s Valentine’s Gift.
“But I took away $1 every day she yelled at me.”
The gift fund was exhausted as of February 14order came around.
“Now her gift limit is $40 and I saved myself $320.”
Isaac presented two different envelopes.
The first one keeps the remaining $40 and has a tally mark every time she yells at him. The second has $320 which he currently earns for himself.
Viewers in the comments section shared on whether the practice was a good one.
Some found humor in the idea: “She’s going to scream at you on Valentine’s Day anyway, so make it $20,” one person said.
Another said they would give it a try: “This is smart tbh. I do this every time my boyfriend doesn’t clean himself. Don’t scream if he’s clean. “
Isaac loved the way the woman shot, he left a comment saying, “It works both ways! Gotta earns the gifts. “
However, others argue that this tactic is unfair to the fiancé:
“Maybe an extra dollar for every time she has to ask you for something before you do it,” one person wrote.
“If that makes sense then don’t take the money, that means she’s still at 300,” another added.
“Doesn’t that mean you only upset her 320 times?????” said a third.
