MANCHESTER UNITED transfer target Antony vowed to ‘always stand by’ his Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.
The Dutch coach refereed his last game against the Amsterdam giants.
He began preparations at United this week before being officially replaced by Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.
And part of his mammoth task will be overseeing the transfer window.
Many Ajax stars, past and present, are associated with the Red Devils – like Lisandro Martinez and Frenkie de Jong.
But as SunSport revealed, winger Antony could be high on the wish list.
And the £50million-rated Brazil international has pledged to stick with Ten Hag if he calls him to Manchester.
In a farewell video message for the outgoing boss, Antony, who is said to be planning to test himself in England, said: “I’d like to wish you all the best at your new club.
“I also want to thank you for everything you taught me.
“I am grateful for all the opportunities and the daily learning.

“Know that I will always be with you when you need me.”
Ten Hag signed Antony to Ajax in 2020 and the 22-year-old forward has recorded 22 goals and 20 assists in his 79 games, as well as two Eredivisie titles.
However, United’s new gaffer could compete with rivals Liverpool for his star’s signature.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Antony in recent months.
Ajax defender Daley Blind admitted his side have a difficult task of retaining their top players.
The former United man said: “I don’t think Ajax will let the players go that easily. They need to have a team next year that will be back in the Champions League and fighting for the title.
“If the top prize is paid for Sebastien Haller or Antony then Ajax will accept that, but I don’t think Ajax want to sell many players. I hope most stay simple.”
